Cancer patients and caregivers
now have a means for the reduction
or elimination of emotional and physical
trauma issues:
Anyone who has faced cancer, either as the patient, or as the
caregiver, knows that there is a great deal of emotional involvement
and physical discomfort. In patients, these issues may well cause the
to constant physical discomfort and an increased emotional response
to all that is going on during conventional treatment. Although the
physical issues are considerably less in the caregivers, the emotional
issues may be just as charged as in the patients. Some examples are
shown in the following table.
The above table is by no means complete, but the issues shown are some of the more
common problems that can be relieved. In addition to helping the mind and body become
more efficient in dealing with cancer, long term issues may be overcome with a few simple
techniques.
My goals when working with cancer patients is not to work "on them," but rather, to work "with
them." The techniques I use are simple to learn, easily applied to yourself or others, and will
in no way interfere with conventional treatments. My practices are not "alternative" methods,
but are "complementary techniques" that often enhance mainstream treatments.
These releasing techniques are equally effective for problems encountered by patients and
caregivers. Family members and friends that are affected will also likely benefit from some of
the procedures.
Most patients I have worked with are very concerned about what it is they can do to help
themselves. They want to participate in their healing process, not just be worked on by
others. I prefer training people to help themselves through private sessions designed to
return control of their lives back into their hands. If you are one of these people contact me
for additional information on private or group sessions.
If you are a physically or energetically oriented healer, or a healthcare worker looking for
new ways to treat your patients these techniques can a very rewarding addition to your skills.
Contact Mike for information on how you can get training.
