Combining Bio-Energy with Massage in the Treatment of Cancer
Patients.
This 12 contact hours course contains many innovative energy and body
work techniques specifically developed for massage professionals working
with cancer patients. This course is based on my experience working with
cancer patients at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center, as well as my additional
training in Medical Massage Therapy (70 hours), Medical Qigong Therapy
(126 hours), and Treating Cancer Patients(18). The main topics are as
follows:
Energy Anatomy and Cancer
Working with conventional Medical providers
Purgation, Tonification, and Regulation of the Human Energy System
Combining Massage and Energy Techniques
Relieving physical and emotional issues with tapotement
Working with connective tissue, or fascia
Permanent removal of scar tissue
Organ massage and Jing point therapy
Relieving Side Effects of Chemotherapy and Radiation
Special Energy Techniques for Body Workers
This 12 contact hours course, although designed specifically for Massage
Therapists, it will also be valuable to nurses, physical therapists, and other
healthcare professionals. This course includes many bio-energetic
techniques to improve the delivery of conventional healthcare. Some of the
health conditions to be addressed will include fibromyalgia, recovery from
surgery, asthma and alllergies, varicose veins, and other conditions. The main
